Yoplait: My Kids’ Favorite Back-to-School Snack
Back-to-school is in full swing and shopping for supplies is not the only thing on our lists!
Let’s talk snacks. Sending my kids off to class with treats they love and that Michael and I can approve of is pretty easy with Yoplait options. Yes, the famous yogurt that comes in just about every sweet and fruity flavor is a favorite in our house. It doesn’t have to break the bank, either. Every time we make a Walmart run, we fill up the cart with these goodies at an incredible value!
What’s best about Yoplait is that there is something to cater to everyone in the family. Alvieri likes to mix it up during the week—the Smoothies and Dunkers are his must-haves! D’Artagnan loves Go-Gurt because we can freeze and enjoy it as a frozen treat! There's also plenty of adorable packaging on the kids cups, like the 8-pack of strawberry and blueberry Go- Gurt with Disney's Frozen characters.
I love the Go-Gurt ones also since it’s an easy way to give the kids a treat that doesn’t require a spoon and can travel with us in our lunch bags. It is also perfect for the car and is a quick pick-me-up for the little ones while I run errands.
If you look closely at the logo on each Yoplait, there’s a charming little flower with six orange petals. Each petal represents the six dairy co-ops (aka agricultural cooperative) from the farmers who co-founded the brand in 1965. Fun fact: the name Yoplait is a combo of the two lead co-ops Yola and Coplait. Today, they have 14 different types of yogurt and more than 135 flavors! Talk about variety. It’s also made with quality ingredients so I can feel good giving it to my kids.
As we get ready for September (still can’t believe it!), we’re stocking up on Yoplait at Walmart for sure. Have you tried these yogurts before? Tell me your favorite flavors and products in the comments!
