Kicking off fall in Bourbon city Louisville, Kentucky 🥃🍂, and of course I had to bring a few fragrances along to set the tone. They won called the latest from @dsanddurga Ain’t That Sweet. A warm, grown-up Garmond that feels made for Chris fall night out. Created by perfumer David Seth Motz, it takes inspiration from date, cake, balancing dark, multi sweetness, with spice, florals, and creamy vanilla. The date and praline give it this rich, decadent and sweetness, while myrrh, cinnamon and nut bag, bring warmth and depth. Then comes and creamy condensed milk and bourbon and vanilla dry down, which feels especially fitting for my first night in Kentucky bourbon country. Sweet, spicy, cozy, and just salty enough for after dark. Of course, we booked Delta, and I made sure to slow down for a moment before takeoff with a glass of rosé in the Delta Sky Club. First Class made the morning even smoother, and I was able to settle in, relax and enjoy a little quiet time before boarding. 🥂 I have to say, I just love LaGuardia Airport. What I wore during NYFW, fragrance edition. 🌼✨ For the past few weeks, I’ve been testing Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid alongside the new Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum Intense, and somewhere between getting dressed, running from show to show and those late New York nights, they became part of my NYFW wardrobe. I’m obsessed. Both creations are by Master Perfumer Marie Salamagne, with Vanilla Orchid at their heart, but they tell two distinctly different stories. Gorgeous Orchid is Gucci’s first ozonic floral gourmand—a luminous combination of Vanilla Duo, Vanilla Orchid and an Ozonic Accord. Creamy and sweet, yet surprisingly airy, with that fresh ozonic quality keeping the vanilla feeling light and almost weightless. @guccibeauty Then there’s the new Gorgeous Orchid Intense, deeper, warmer and incredibly addictive. Salty Ozonic Accord opens the fragrance with an airy, mineral freshness, Vanilla Orchid sits at its heart, and Dark Cocoa Accord brings richness and depth to the base. It’s classified by Gucci as a floral woody gourmand, and I love the contrast between the creamy sweetness, saltiness and darker cocoa.
