Hosted by @JoeJonas , who steps in as Kenneth Cole’s new Global Brand Ambassador, the evening brought together NYC tastemakers for an introduction to the scent and the playful new campaign surrounding it. At the heart of INSPIRE is the work of my friend @christine_hassan_perfumer x @givaudanperfume . A modern woody aromatic, it opens with bergamot, lemon and grapefruit, moves through rosemary, cypress and black pepper, and settles into cedarwood, oakmoss and amber. Bright citrus against aromatic spice, grounded by warm woods. A composition that feels fresh, confident and distinctly modern. What I wore during NYFW, fragrance edition. 🌼✨ For the past few weeks, I’ve been testing Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid alongside the new Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum Intense, and somewhere between getting dressed, running from show to show and those late New York nights, they became part of my NYFW wardrobe. I’m obsessed. Both creations are by Master Perfumer Marie Salamagne, with Vanilla Orchid at their heart, but they tell two distinctly different stories. Gorgeous Orchid is Gucci’s first ozonic floral gourmand—a luminous combination of Vanilla Duo, Vanilla Orchid and an Ozonic Accord. Creamy and sweet, yet surprisingly airy, with that fresh ozonic quality keeping the vanilla feeling light and almost weightless. @guccibeauty Then there’s the new Gorgeous Orchid Intense, deeper, warmer and incredibly addictive. Salty Ozonic Accord opens the fragrance with an airy, mineral freshness, Vanilla Orchid sits at its heart, and Dark Cocoa Accord brings richness and depth to the base. It’s classified by Gucci as a floral woody gourmand, and I love the contrast between the creamy sweetness, saltiness and darker cocoa. I wore both throughout New York Fashion Week, choosing between the airy vanilla glow of the original and the richer, more sensual character of Intense depending on the look, the mood and where the night was taking me. Fragrance really is the finishing touch to getting dressed and these two have been following me everywhere lately. Ending New York Fashion Week with a bang and kicking off Latin Heritage Month with an even bigger one. 💥✨ A day of firsts with @Ceremonia as the first Latin-owned haircare brand to collaborate on a major NYFW runway show, joining forces with @collinastrada for an epic takeover at @StormKingArtCenter 🌿 We started the day getting ready together at @babba ‘s beautiful home upstate before heading to Storm King with the girls for such a special afternoon.
