There’s something special about experiencing fragrance at the source. ✨ An exclusive morning inside @symrisefinefragrance NYC HQ, celebrating the newest from @granadobrazil Figo Confit and Framboesa Noir, two decadent interpretations of fruit arriving at exactly the right moment as we begin to lean into fall. Figo Confit, composed by Nathalie Benareau @nathaliebenareauperfumer , takes fig somewhere deeper and more indulgent. Fig, davana and plum melt into rose, muguet and Cashmeran before settling into dates, labdanum and cedar. Think ripe fig at its most luscious warm, velvety and almost candied, with this beautiful woody richness underneath. Then there’s Framboesa Noir, composed by Christelle Laprade @christellelapradeperfumer the moodier of the two. Raspberry, green apple and jasmine give way to lavender, geranium and cedar, before rum, leather and labdanum bring in that darker, sensual warmth. The raspberry feels juicy at first, then increasingly boozy and sophisticated as it settles on skin. Fig and raspberry for fall, but not in the obvious gourmand way. One feels plush and golden; the other dark, spirited and seductive. And getting to discover them inside @symrisefinefragrance where the perfumery behind these creations comes to life made the morning all the more special.
